Over 1,000 children, parents, and community members participated in the second annual Trunk or Treat Event, hosted by the Bloomingdale-Roselle Rotary Club together with the American Legion Post 1084 in Roselle. More than 40 local business and nonprofit organizations decorated trunks and handed out candy and other goodies. Members of the Rotary Club and volunteer students from the Lake Park High School National Honors Society helped coordinate the event and welcome participants at the main entrance. The Roselle Police Department, Roselle VIPS (Volunteers in Police Service) and Roselle Police Explorers provided assistance keeping pedestrians safe near the area and while crossing streets.

The trunk voted most favorite was created by Keeneyville School District 20.
